Arrow Down

Septic System Evaluations

Walking through the home to check for items that affect the longevity of the system (garbage disposal, water treatment, jetted tubs, etc).

Locating & opening the tank (or tanks) in order to determine the size, inspect the inlet & outlet baffles, take a sludge measurement, and run the sewer camera from tank to the effluent disposal area (EDA).

Locating & opening the pump chamber, if the system is a pump system, in order to verify that the alarm float and on/off float are functioning properly.

Identifying the type of EDA.

Opening the distribution box (D Box) to inspect the structural integrity of the box and verify even flow out of the lines.

Performing a minimum of one excavation in the EDA to determine the system's overall condition.

Measuring the distance between the well and the system components (when the wellhead location can be verified).

Using a sewer camera to aid in locating system components and inspecting pipes.

The evaluation is followed up with a written report emailed to client & realtor within 24 hours.

Educating clients about basic system maintenance and some of the things that can be done both in & out of the home to promote system longevity.

All grading criteria and evaluation methodology used to perform the evaluation are from the Granite State Designers & Installers Association’s (GSDI) Septic Evaluator Program.

Sewerline Evaluations

The evaluation is followed up with a written report emailed to client & realtor within 24 hours.

Educating clients about some of the basic things that can be done both in & out of the home to reduce the possibility of future issues.
